Smoke At Mount Kisco Cosi Leads To South Moger Avenue Closure MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- South Moger Avenue in downtown Mount Kisco was closed for part of Thursday night as firefighters responded to a report of smoke at the Cosi restaurant. The dispatch came after 8 p.m., according to Fire Chief Mario Muccioli. Sprinkler heads were working in response, although there was no smoke by the time firefighters arrived. Chappaqua School Board Accepts Cheerleading Funding CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua school board voted unanimously to accept a $10,000 gift to create a cheerleading program at Horace Greeley High School. The vote came at the board's April 23 meeting and would re-establish cheerleading at the school. Mount Kisco Parking Officer Accused In Theft From Meter Collections MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- A Mount Kisco parking enforcement officer was arrested in the theft of more than $89,000 in village parking meter funds. The Westchester County District Attorney's Office, which announced the arrest on Tuesday, accused Jeffrey Daday of taking the revenue over a period from Jan. 5, 2009 until May 6, 2014.  Daday, a 35-year-old resident of Southeast in Putnam County, is accused of emptying the meters and then depositing some of the money at People United Bank, at 14 S.
