'Dogma', Cult Classic Directed By Monmouth County's Kevin Smith Gets Re-Release “Dogma,” Kevin Smith’s controversial 90s hit that became a rare artifact is coming back to theatres. NJ School Janitor Who Contaminated Food With Bleach, Bodily Fluids Learns Fate: Prosecutor A 27-year-old former school janitor in South Jersey was sentenced on Friday, March. 28, after he previously pleaded guilty to putting bleach and bodily fluids into school items meant for students and staff, authorities said. Giovanni Impellizzeri, a Vineland resident, was sentenced to five years in prison for contaminating the food and three years in prison for possessing child pornography, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office said. Two Charged in Fatal Vineland Crash: Prosecutor Two Vineland residents, including an 86-year-old man, were charged on Wednesday, March 26 after a crash fatally killed a pedestrian last November, authorities said. Florham Park Man Brandished Firearm At Rider University: Police A 20-year-old Florham Park man was arrested and charged after he brandished a firearm on the Rider University campus on Sunday, March 30, authorities said. At 11:06 p.m., officers responded to Olson Dormitory on a report of a person with a firearm, Lawrence township police said. 16-Year-Old Fatally Shot In New Brunswick: Prosecutor A 16-year-old New Brunswick boy was fatally shot on the evening of Monday, March 31, authorities said. At 6:26 p.m., officers responded to Lee Avenue and Rutgers Street and found the 16-year-old with gunshot wounds, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said. Home Catches Fire After Car Crash: Manalapan PD A vehicle crashed into a home, causing it to be set ablaze on the morning of Tuesday, April 1 in Manalapan, authorities said. At 5:02 a.m., a car crashed into a home on Craig Road near Symmes Drive, and the home then caught on fire, Manalapan police said. The driver of the vehicle was removed by passing motorists, and was transported to an area hospital, police said. A person inside the house was safely removed, police said, and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, police said. The incident remains under investigation, police said.

Sewell Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle On Route 76: Njsp A 60-year-old Sewell resident was fatally struck by a vehicle while on Route 76 in Gloucester City on the early morning of Tuesday, April 1. At 2:19 a.m., a Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling south on Route 130 and entering the Route 76 ramp when Douglas Cella entered its path and was hit by the vehicle, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Cella sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
