Gerard Uttel, 78, Of Fair Lawn
FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Gerard Uttel, a resident of Fair Lawn, died Saturday, March 12. He was 78.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and raised in Ridgefield, he resided in Fair Lawn for 49 years. As a veteran, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Prior to retiring, he was employed as the security director with the Bank of New York in Teaneck for many years.
He is survived by his children, Michael S. Uttel and his wife, Dawn; his daughter-in-law, Lily; granddaughter, Faith; his brother, Tanis La Manna; and many nieces and nephews.

PROSPECT PARK, N.J. – Florence E. Craft, a lifetime resident of Prospect Park, died Friday, March 11. She was 96.
Before retiring, she worked for the board of education in Prospect Park for 20 years. Early in her life, she graduated from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing as a pediatric nurse.

CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. – Robert Edward Norris, a resident of Chestnut Ridge, died Thursday, March 10. He was 91.
