GARFIELD, N.J. -- Nancy Scalia, a resident of Garfield, died Friday, May 6. She was 93.Born and raised in Lodi for 33 years, she settled in Garfield 60 years ago. She was a garment worker with the ILGWU Passaic Local. She was also a hairdresser for many years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Garfield and a member of the Garfield VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Loretta Lupo, a resident of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Waldwick, died Friday, May 6. She was 85.She was born in Passaic and had been a longtime resident of Waldwick before moving to Franklin Lakes five years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church in Wyckoff.
She is survived by her daughter, Loretta and her husband David Ross of Waldwick; her son, Don Lupo and his wife Tracy Noborikawa of Marina del Rey, Calif.; and a granddaughter, Danielle Ross of Waldwick.
She was predeceased by her, husband Daniel Lupo.

ORADELL, N.J. -- Elizabeth De Lotto, a resident of Oradell, died Friday, May 6. She was 101.
Born in New Jersey, she lived in Elmwood Park for over 60 years before moving to Paramus for two years and settling in Oradell for the past two years.
She is survived by her children, Albert Jr., Alberta Potter and Cecilia Bianco; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert.

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Henry A. Rathjen, a resident of Rhinebeck, died Wednesday, May 4. He was 69.Born Sept.11, 1946, in Brooklyn, he was the son of John and Dorothy (Bowman) Rathjen.
He moved to Rhinebeck with his family and attended Rhinebeck schools. After finishing school, he was a union electrician for Local 215 and Local 363 for 35 years until his retirement in 2004.
