Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

South Jersey Man Sentenced In $4M Money-Laundering Scheme A Burlington County man was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison for illegally laundering more than $4 million in proceeds from a mail fraud scheme, authorities said. Pablo Estrada, 27, of Florence, previously pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering, according to U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger. He was sentenced on Wednesday, June 12. Rutgers Student, Edison Resident Noah Koenig Dies, 20 Noah Benjamin Koenig, of Edison, died suddenly on Friday, June 7, according to an obituary published by Dangler Funeral Home. He was 20 years old. Noah graduated from John P. Stevens High School in Edison in 2022, and joined the Cub Scouts in the first grade, his obituary said.
