Bridgeport Man Dies Of Injuries Three Weeks After Shooting BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 23-year-old Bridgeport man died on New Year's Day — three weeks after he was shot while walking on a city street, according to police. Alexander Davis was struck by gunfire while walking near the intersection of Brooks Street and Jane Street on Dec. 11, police said. Bridgeport Police Seek Public's Help In Finding Murder Suspect BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding Douglas Rivas, 34, who is wanted for the murder of 36-year-old Cristibal Hernandez.  Hernandez was fatally shot at 10 p.m. Sept. 25 after a fight broke out inside El Paraiso Restaurant.  There is an active warrant for the arrest of Rivas on murder and weapons charges.
