Gerald LaBlanc, a lifelong Stamford resident who died Oct. 2. He was 87.LaBlanc was born Nov. 17, 1929, in Stamford to the late Dennis and Dolores Leblanc. A devoted father and husband, LaBlanc is survived by his wife, Dolores (Boshka) LaBlanc. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lisa, and his brothers, Robert LeBlanc and Dennis LaBlanc. LaBlanc was a Stamford firefighter for many years, rising through the ranks to captain. He retired after being seriously injured in a major fire due to a chemical explosion.…
