By The Numbers: Forum Breaks Down Connecticut's Deadly Opioid Epidemic BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — When it comes to the state's growing opioid epidemic, the numbers don't lie, the state's chief medical examiner Dr. James Gill said at a forum on the problem Monday in Bridgeport.  "The crisis is very real," Gill said. "It is not exaggerated.
