Despite One-Two Hurricane Punch, Connecticut's Gas Prices Are Leveling Off Motorists in Connecticut may not yet realize it, but for the first time in 15 days, the average price of a gallon of gas appears to be leveling off, according to AAA Northeast. Bridgeport Teen Busted With Heroin In His Car In Milford BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A teenager from Bridgeport was busted with heroin in his car after he was stopped by a Milford officer for a moving violation, police said.  Elijah Vines,18, of 111 Park Terrace, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Sunday after he was stopped at Bridgeport Avenue and Naugatuck Avenue, police said.  An investigation led to the discovery of the heroin and the arrest of Vines, police said. He was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.  Vine was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 10.

2 Norwalk High Seniors Place A Flag For Every Victim Of 9/11 NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk High students were greeted Monday morning by a huge array of flags on the lawn to commemorate those who died in the Sept. 11 terror attacks. Norwalk High seniors Colin Baker and Bobby Gummer installed the American flags outside the school Monday morning, one for each person who died that day.
