Putnam County Classic Races Start Sunday In Brewster BREWSTER, N.Y. -- The 21st Putnam County Fall Classic half marathon and 5K starts Sunday, Sept. 7 at 9 a.m. on Main Street in Brewster. Registration is available online. All registered participants in the race will receive an event T-shirt and goodie bag, and there will be activities and music for all ages throughout registration and the race. There will also be a one-mile walk. Participants are encouraged to stay afterwards for the Brewster Founder’s Day and street fair. Amy Dixon, with guide Lindsey Cook, finished eighth in the paratriathlon 5 sprint distance race. Emma Langley finished second in the Olympic distance race for women ages 18 and 19 years old.
