Indictment Against Mahopac Restaurateur's Lawyer Dropped MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- A felony indictment against a Westchester attorney was dismissed by a judge on Wednesday, according to a News 12 report. Attorney George Galgano was accused of bribing the accuser of his client so that she would change her story. Galgano represented Lami Zaimi, a restaurant owner in Mahopac, who was on trial for rape. Galgano was indicted for witness tampering and bribery.  A judge threw out the indictment and accused District Attorney Adam Levy and his office of improperly handling the case. Residents in the area of North Chatsworth Avenue near Huguenot Drive were without service after a 12-inch pipe burst. Close Call Between Planes Over Westchester Airport Under Investigation WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A JetBlue flight was involved in a close call with another aircraft Sunday at Westchester County Airport, according to a report on LoHud.com. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating Sunday's Flight 94 of Jet Blue from Orlando. It was preparing to land at the airport when air traffic controllers alerted pilots that another plane was in the vicinity, the story said.  The JetBlue pilot saw the smaller aircraft and pulled up.
