Locals Come Out To Play At South Salem Fire Department Carnival SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. - The South Salem Fire Department's carnival has been in full swing since Wednesday night, when the event kicked off with a parade. The carnival was set to run through Saturday night, with hours running from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Ride-all-night wristbands cost $25 per person each night. On closing night there will be a raffle drawing for prizes. This year’s raffle prizes include $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $500 for third place. Raffle tickets cost $5 each.
