Area Residents Flock To Adams Fairacre Farms For Harvest Fest POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Poughkeepsie's Adams Fairacre Farms held its annual Harvest Fest on Sunday, and the event was well attended, with big crowds turning out in the perfect fall weather. The Harvest Fest featured lots of free fun for the kids, including pony rides, face painting, and a petting zoo. There was also lots of food, as well as blow-up tents for the kids, sand art, pumpkin carving with Deane Arnold, a graphic designer, and a free family show, as well as demonstrations by the Poughkeepsie Police Department and the Arlington Fire Department.
