Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Fatal Crash: 46-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Holtsville One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened around 6:20 p.m. Thursday, June 13 in Holtsville. Jared Rueb, age 46, was operating a 2005 Honda motorcycle southbound on North Ocean Avenue by Peconic Avenue, when he lost control and struck a curb, according to Suffolk County Police. He was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have not yet released Rueb's place of residence. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552

In response to numerous community complaints, authorities conducted an investigation into Jixiang Spa in Selden, located at 721 Middle Country Road, on Wednesday afternoon, June 12. Two employees, Queens residents Jiangnan Tong, age 46, and Wenjing Guo, age 39, both of Flushing, were each charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, a Class E felony. Resident Dies After Blaze Breaks Out At Baldwin Home One person died after a fire broke out at a Long Island home. Nassau County Police say detectives were conducting an investigation in Baldwin on Talmadge Drive when they saw smoke emanating from a residence at about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 11.
