J. -- The Upper Saddle River Fire Department visited more than 70 homes and made a $2,000 donation to the Tomorrow's Children's Fund at the Hackensack University Medical Center as part of this year's Project Santa.Fire officials are thanking resisdent for the generous donations of gifts and money. Sleepy Hollow High School Raises Money For Make-a-wish SLEEPY HOLLOW, N. Y. -- Sleepy Hollow High School students showed their giving spirit by collecting and donating food, and raising more than $1,800 for Make-A-Wish Foundation. During their annual Spirit Week in October, students donated more than 3,000 cans of food for the Tarrytown Food Pantry. Also during Spirit Week, students held Penny Wars to collect $1,836.41. The junior class, winner of Penny Wars, chose Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hudson Valley as the recipient. One Teen Facing Charges After Police Investigate Greenwich Fight GREENWICH, Conn. -- At least one juvenile is facing criminal charges following a police investigation of cell phone video footage showing a fight Nov. 25 involving several young people, according to the Greenwich Time.A 19-year-old victim was knocked out after being kicked in the head during the melee about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25 near Holly Hill Lane and Muskrat Pond Drive. Yorktown's Brookside School Toy Donation Is Largest So Far YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Toys for Tots organizer Al Laughlin said this year's donation from Brookside Elementary School in Yorktown Heights is a record-breaker.Laughlin, a former U.S. Marine from Yorktown, said Brookside's contribution is one of the largest in the area.
