Motorcyclist, 47, Killed In Manville Crash: Prosecutor Police have identified the 47-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Sunday, Sept. 15 in Somerset County. Belle Mead's Kevin Duwane Williams was hospitalized after the crash on South Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Manville around 5:30 p.m., Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald previously said. Nine People Arrested During Illegal Racing Event: Newark Police Nine people were arrested and charged with eluding during an illegal car racing event in Newark on Sunday, Sept. 15, authorities said. At 2:31 a.m., police responded to Doremus Avenue and Port Street on a report of several vehicles driving erratically in the middle of the street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Wharton Man Gets 7 Years For Possessing Images Of Children Being Abused: Feds A 53-year-old Morris County man was sentenced on Monday, Sept. 16, to seven years in prison for possessing and distributing child pornography, authorities said. Man Critically Injured In Bayonne Fire: Prosecutor A man was critically injured in a fire in Bayonne on the late afternoon of Monday, Sept. 16, authorities said. At 5:20 p.m., the Bayonne Fire Department responded to 167 West 9th St. after receiving multiple reports of a fire, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The fire was discovered in the basement, the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management said. The fire was declared under control at 5:46 p.m., OEM said. Truck Overturns On New Jersey Turnpike In Kearny: Njdot A tractor trailer overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike in Keary on the late morning of Tuesday, Sept. 17, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. The truck overturned following a crash on the turnpike at the Western Spur northbound exit ramp at Interchange 15W by Route 280, the Department of Transportation said.
